at an altitude of 1200 m to 2000 m, in the heart of Les Portes du Soleil. In the
Summer Chatel is a place to enjoy laidback sports aswell as many other attractions.
Numerous
activities are on offer from mountain biking,and hiking through to archery and
paragliding, there's no room for idleness. Not forgetting of course the beautiful
walks amongst the mountain pastures and the forests. In winter Châtel is
a limitless ski area consisting of 650km of slopes, with links to many other resorts
such as Avoriaz. For a change of air it suffices to simply ski over the border
into Switzerland. Monotony does not exist in this Haute-Savoie village. |

of alpine scenery. An area where all imaginable activities seem to be on offer.
In winter Morzine becomes a village of ski lovers, snowboarders,and winter hikers.
An immense domain, where each summit promises something new and where every slope
reserves a surprise. In
summer it's sport, fresh mountain air, relaxation, numerous attractions, the olympic
size swimming pool, the ice rink, tennis, and the equestrian centre. Finally for
all the night owls , Morzine bristles with activities, both traditionnal and gastronomic
restaurants, aswell as nightclubs, cinemas and pubs. |
